Come meet the God who loves us! This Introducing God course will run over 7 weeks during Term 2 2016. Each week we will share a meal together and then watch the course DVD before breaking into our groups to discuss the talk. You will have the opportunity to share your views and thoughts. To confirm your interest in attending or to ask any questions please contact Pastor Luke on 0422 630 236 or email@example.com.
Beginning in November all bible study groups will begin a new course called Six Steps to loving your church. This is a stimulating video-based course that will help people to change their whole mindset about church—to learn that ‘loving’ your church doesn’t just mean enjoying it or liking it, but actively serving and loving the people (who are the church) in whatever way possible.
Over the six sessions of the course you will cover subjects such as:
- your current attitudes towards church, and how they are expressed
- what the Bible says about the meaning and purpose of church
- what it means to love your church and the people who go there
- how all of us can be active encouraging servants before, during and after church, rather than just consumers or spectators.
Please contact Luke for more information.
We are currently running an evangelism course called “Two Ways to Live – Know and Tell the Gospel”. It will be running after church on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of June, July and August (7/6, 21/6, 5/7, 19/7, 2/8 & 16/8). The aim of this course is for everyone involved to understand how God has saved his people and to learn a simple outline that will equip them to share this great news with others.
